“Is it a gift you are offering or is it a gift you wish to receive?”

I have been experimenting a fair bit with gifting of late..

This is an interesting exchange in a very dear group- ChittSangh.. which may connect with some chord in your heart. I wrote this to the Sanghis this morning..

Hi All..
I have a wish to gift each of you who are willing to receive something this week.. it could be material.. or not so material.. Some wise soul said, what truly counts, cannot be counted. This gifting will go beyond my week.. but can begin now!

Would be happy if you could sense alone/ together with me what this gift could be..

eg. It could be as simple as a conversation in which we “learn n coach together” … simply flow.. like Nilima has said with our 1.6 and 2.0’s .. and see what life has to bring/ offer to this togetherness.. (1.6 is a version of us that is fragmented, struggling, fearful, human, defensive, competitive.. and 2.0 is who we are when we flow and see that all is one. There is love and spontaneous co-creation)

I believe that each togetherness has a magnificence waiting, to not only be discovered, but constantly celebrated, deepened and lived. And we live only a fraction of that magnificence, truly.

Any takers for this experiment of gifting… at the expense of being laughed at again.. Arjun calls me the wise fool on the hill.. can I call it ‘co-gifting’, perhaps.

A Sanghi: “Is it a gift you are offering or is it a gift you wish to receive?”

Me: “Beautiful question, my friend, which takes us back into the Paradox of living, loving and indeed gifting.. And I will quote what you wrote to me in response to the CB exchange:

“What you(kiran) said in ur mail, ‘paradox is when the mind cannot wrap itself around it’ was a big aha. Paradoxes then are doorways where, whilst the mind is grappling to be comfortable, the heart/soul can tip toe in. How wonderful. Thank you’

Now lets see right here.. was this a gift I gave you or you gave me? Or something that we both received.. when the duality of you and I dissolved?

So, I am offering and also requesting… hope I have been able to articulate something that is not easy to express.

Lets let the heart tip toe in ;-)”
